This week is starting off tough but a lot is getting done, art is being mailed out, art is being delivered and new stuff being sketched, thumbnailed, lettered and painted. Starting off the week is this quick sketch colored w/Sharpie, Typhoid Mary. I really like this character. I also realize I find myself gravitating toward the Marvel characters that are tragic, after all, my favorite character is Rogue.

Also this was just completed today:

A Nemesis piece for our fantastic friend Nick. This is just a preview since I realized that the full piece might be too violent. To see the full image click here!

What lies ahead is a Wonder Woman piece for the mega talented Sergio Calvet. It’s drawn now all it needs now is some paint.

This is the banner for our podcast entitled HERNURPHCAST which is a combo of mine and Mike’s name…yeah I know cute :)

We will be starting up new episodes by Mid-Sept, this will be our second season of recording. We talk about everyday life, nerd stuff, movies and living in Portland, Oregon.

Over the years of living as a freelancer and a small press we’ve met some incredible, dedicated, talented and loyal friends and fans from all over the world. It’s really cool and amazing thing to be cheered on and likewise to cheer on friends and creators from all over. These links are just a handful that I’d like to give a shout out to. What I don’t put up now I will at a later time.

So it’s 1:16 a.m. and Mike, Ray and myself have been working all day drawing, painting and making comics. We are watching Feast 2 and winding down. Thanks for reading this post & have a great weekend!
