Laramie Ave
That feeling, the surrounding, it’s late almost midnight and there is just fallen snow all around you. It glows orange from the street lights and is reflected ever so slightly in the night sky which is a mix of blue and purple. You can’t see the stars but you can hear a bit of traffic far away and faint, it’s chilly, you can see your breath in the air but the temp is not freezing. You breathe in deep and the brisk air chills your lungs and calms you and even though your standing on Laramie Ave in Cicero, IL, for a brief moment, it’s not so bad. That is what I miss.
