     Our old logo was designed back in 2004 and it had a nice 8 year run. As a company CHIBI COMICS was toying with the idea of a new logo because it was just time. The question was who would we trust with such a task?

     Let me introduce you to that person. Dennis Salvatier of Salvatier Studios was at the top of the list of designers that we had in mind. One look at his design thumbnails and we were floored. More importantly, we were put at ease with our decision to go with him. We appreciated the level of professionalism and reliability of Salvatier Studios. Thanks to him, CHIBI COMICS is shining even brighter in the world of comics.

We will be debuting the new logo on all of our books starting this year. Thank you so much Dennis!

So this first week of the new year, I had recived a beautiful traditional ink set for Christmas and some of the very first pieces were sold, given as gifts and just plain given away for free. 

I have decided to continue this throughout the month of January to start and what I will be giving away will vary in size, color and subject. 

These are the first three that were given away the previous one was the one entitled “Recyclable Art” and one that escapes me right now.

To get your hands on some free art by me just drop by my Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/chibicelina and I will always give a 10 min warning before giving anything away. i will also be varying the condition to win, sometimes it’s the first to leave a comment and sometimes I choose at random. Either way I’ll always say the terms when I post up the art to giveaway. And i am on random so I might giveaway earlier in the day or at 3 a.m. so, yeah!

Myriad #5 is now available!

For those who don’t know, Kitties with Pottymouths is only one creative endeavor I’m involved in. My main focus is actually a series of mini-comics under the banner title of Myriad. Each issue is a completely separate story by a different artist and usually in a different genre.

To date, I’ve published four issues, and I’ve just gotten the fifth back from the printer. This issue features a short, kid-friendly story called “Horace the Horticulturist Hippo.” It’s illustrated by Celina Hernandez and it’s in full color.
